University of Brighton - Huxley Building

Updated: Aug 23, 2023

The Huxley Building is one of the main academic buildings on the Moulsecoomb campus of the University of Brighton. The building is home to a number of departments within the School of Environment and Technology, including civil engineering, construction, geology, and geography.

The campus includes 5 towers which KaydeeSayfa was brought on to provide façade access and safety line for cleaning and maintenance purposes. Across the project KaydeeSayfa provided over 130 Abseil Bases & 11 Abseil Posts to allow for safe access to the building's façade. To ensure safe movement around the roof, a network of Safety Line system allows the users to attach securely with a lanyard and move the roof safely.

Since finishing the installation in 2020 the KaydeeSayfa team have been back regularly to carry out testing on the equipment across the 5 towers.
