The Royal Liverpool Hospital is a large teaching hospital located in the city of Liverpool, in the North West of England. The hospital was founded in 1824 and has since undergone many renovations and expansions. In 2019, a new state-of-the-art hospital building was completed adjacent to the existing hospital site. The new facility, called the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, features the latest technology and facilities, and is designed to provide patients with the highest standard of care.
KaydeeSayfa worked with Laing O'Rourke to provide "miles" of cubicle track to allow for easy movement of disabled patients and privacy for patients in the hospital. In addition to cubicle track, the team were also responsible for providing vertical blinds and blackout roller blinds in offices and reception areas of the hospital.
When providing solutions for hospitals there are a number of unique points that need to be considered. In this context the primary point to consider was ensuring that the systems installed were anti-ligature in order to avoid any accidental injury to the patients.
